It is virtually impossible to find a more convenient location
for traveling about the tri-state area. Our community is located
within a mile of four major highways, allowing us to be in neighboring
Nassau County in 5 minutes, Suffolk County in 20, Brooklyn,
Westchester & The Five Towns in 20 to 25 minutes, and in New
Jersey in 30 minutes. Manhattan can be accessed by car in
20 minutes during non-rush hour periods, and Penn. Station is 28
minutes away via the Long Island Rail Road. There are also express
buses that go to midtown and Wall Street on a regular schedule.
And although we may be part of NYC, there is no alternate side of
the street parking in our neighborhood.

Two of the finest and largest parks in the city are in our
neighborhood. Alley Pond and Cunningham parks have acres and acres
of forest, running and bicycling paths, indoor and outdoor tennis
courts, playgrounds, ball fields, picnic areas, and a nature center.
Both parks often host free outdoor concerts, and every summer the
Big Apple Circus comes to Cunningham Park.
Kosher shopping is available in the neighborhood with kosher
establishments such as bakeries, butchers, restaurants and
seforim stores available 6 minutes away on Union Turnpike or 10
minutes away on Main Street in Kew Garden Hills.

Most of our members send their children to one of the 3 nearby
Modern Orthodox day schools:
Yeshiva Har Torah,
Yeshiva of Central Queens,
and North Shore Hebrew Academy.
We are also close to the
Samuel H. Wang Yeshiva University High School for Girls,
the North Shore Hebrew Academy High School,
and the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway, as well as
Cardozo public high school,
one of the best in New York City.
There are numerous mikvaot in Queens and surrounding areas.
