Shabbat Morning Youth Program
Every Shabbat morning at 10 am
For children ages 3 to 11.
YIHHWP has a program for your children on Shabbat morning. There will be davening, weekly
parsha summary and questions, stories for younger children, games for all ages, and a mini Kiddush.
Separate groups for the older and younger children.
Monthly Chulent Tish
One Friday night a month at a different home during winter months
Come socialize, shmooze, and of course, enjoy some excellent chulent.
The next chulent tish of the 2009 season will be held on December 4th.

Women's League
Monthly meetings and events
The YIHHWP Women's League is a very active group that organizes regular discussions and
other events, in addition to the annual paid up membership dinner.

Scholar-in-Residence Program
On a monthly basis, YIHHWP brings in Jewish scholars to lead classes and discussions for a
day or an entire Shabbat. Past participants have included Rabbi Jacob J. Schacter of The Joseph B.
Soleveitchik Institute, Rabbi Menachem Leibtag of Yeshivat Har Etzion, and Rabbi Dr. Asher Meir.
Sewing Circle
Monthly at rotating homes
One evening a month, sit and shmooze with members of the shul while working on your
needlecraft project. Beginners are welcome.
Homebound Visitation
The shul organizes visits to homebound congregants by members of the shul.

Meals for Mothers of Newborns and Other in Need
YIHHWP helps provide meals to those who need them.

Boy Scout Troop 613
Meets at the shul Sunday evenings at 6 pm
The boys in this shomer Shabbat troop participate in regular projects, chesed activities,
outings, and camping trips.
